Interpretation of Song Gloomy Sunday

Gloomy Sunday is a popular song . It used to popular worldwide decades ago.  It's lyrics has a deep meaning which touches the heart of the people . Lyrics are intrepreted, written by Billie Holiday. Inverted Commas represent the original lyrics of Holiday.

"Sunday is gloomy                                           
My hours are slumberless                          
Dearest the shadows                                     
I live with are numberless"                                                                                                 
The singer was feeling sad on this Sunday . He was unable to sleep. Singer was saying his deported love that there's a shadow hanging over everything.
"Little white flowers 
will never awaken you                                  
not where the black coach                          
of sorrow has taken you"                                                                                                   
He was not sure whether the flower reference something specific or not, but the coach of sorrow is a here.It is clear that his lover is dead.

There is no way that heaven will allow his lover to return from the dead. So would the singer be welcome in heaven if he commited suicide.

That Sunday was very sad he decided to commit suicide.

let then know that I'm glad to go"                                                                                                             There will be awake afterwards but the singer doesn't want to let them mourn them as they were glad to join their love in heaven.

Death would be reality if they would be together again.  Their last words on earth would be about their love . This song is really fantastic and wonderful .
