The ROK Cooperative, also known as the Republic of Korea Cooperative, plays a significant role in promoting enterprise and increasing income in agriculture. By bringing together farmers and agricultural producers, the cooperative facilitates collective action and resource pooling, enabling members to access inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and machinery at lower costs through bulk purchasing. Additionally, the cooperative provides marketing support, helping members sell their products collectively, thus obtaining better prices and market access. Through these collaborative efforts, the ROK Cooperative strengthens the agricultural sector, enhances the bargaining power of individual farmers, and contributes to the overall socio-economic development of rural communities.
